I'd call it: Grabens Rock

So grabens are created when stone, sitting atop a large underground salt field, begins to collapse due to the salt disintegrating.  Some of the coolest grabens in the world can be found in southern Utah.  From the air they almost look like huge depressed piano keys.

I like that the grabens are formed by something you'd least expect.  How many people know there are miles of salt under huge portions of southern Utah?  I didn't.

In writing, as in geology, some of the most interesting twists and turns in a personality are those coming from the least expected place.  Character flaws!  I lose good sleep at night searching them out . . .
